Beauty Tip ~ Microdermabrasion At Home CHEAP!

Here's a quick beauty tip for today. It's my cheap, little secret. Okay...so it's not that big of a secret, but I don't know if many people have thought of it.

I'm one of the many women that have paid a small fortune for an at-home microdermabrasion cleansing brush kit. You can get them nowadays for anywhere between $30 - $100 but that's pretty expensive for anyone. Not to mention the additional expense of facial cleansers and exfoliators which advertise the perfect combination with your high priced brush!

One day while brushing my teeth, I realized I was using the same technology but in a smaller size for my teeth and gums. Um...duh! Why am I paying so much for a big bulky expensive kit when I could be buying a small electric toothbrush. Electric toothbrushes can now be purchased for less than $10 - WAY cheaper and they don't require a charger. I hope you're all shouting for joy!!!

And just to add to your yayness...you can make cleansers and exfoliators at home from ingredients you have in your kitchen cabinets! Be sure to check back for some DIY cleanser and exfoliator recipes.

Be sure to share this awesome tip with all your friends on Pinterest and Facebook!!

I've always wanted to try one of those gadgets out, but never wanted to pay that much. I can handle $10! Looking forward to your cleanser recipes.

  2. What do you use with it though the microderm kit I used to have had a gritty like cream to go with it.

  4. Alyssa, Hi! Thanks for the question. Sometimes I make my own concoction with ingredients I have in my kitchen cabinets and other times I will use an exfoliator I have from proactive. I also use over the counter face washes sometimes. Come back soon because I'll be posting some recipes I have for diy face exfoliates. :)
